The Story Behind the Hashtag

#BabesCanBuildIt was this hashtag idea that I used to jump start WOMAN’S MONTH last year!!

When I started my BUILD-IT shenanagans, I wanted to prove to MYSELF and others, that WE CAN DO IT!! Building things with my hands was a passion I wanted to share with others who wished to do it too!!

When I first realized the power & influence WOMAN had “ON EACH OTHER” I needed to prove to everyone that I wasn’t the only female doing these things!! It was my hope to inspire this community by showing off all the BabesCanBuildIt ladies I could find!! I wish that I did more to showcase all those ladies, but everything took off way too fast!

Everything I planned for The Bs Nest (& some that I didn’t), somehow became reality, faster than I could keep up with! Some plans completely derailed but taught major life lessons!!

My DREAMS became my life! & more than ever, I wanted to help ladies see, that if I could do it, YOU COULD DO IT TOO!

While I continue down this Build-It journey of DREAM CHASING and unfamiliar territories, encouraging woman to show up for themselves is always my first PRIORITY!!

..BE brave enough to try!!
..BE clever enough to prepare!!

..BE resilient enough to continue!!
